Worry and worry

So I just got a Facebook message from a friend, a close friend, whose parents on one side just found out she is gay. Now, they're talking of disowning her, kicking her out of the house and taking her off the family insurance policy. I'm one of very few people who know, and she's begging me to help her figure out a way to live independently. I hope I can help her out, the bigotries some people have towards people are unbearable. It makes me sad that people can't just be treated... humanely, as humans, and as equals.

Anyway, that is what is new in my life. How's it going out there?
