Rest in Peace, a memorial

As most of you probably don't know, my bunny lost his fight with his illness yesterday and passed away.

He fell ill sometime late Sunday/early Monday. I was notified by mom and dad on Monday morning, at which time we thought he had a stroke since he had a bad case of head tilt and could not walk, eat or drink, his eyes were glazed over and he couldn't walk. I was getting ready to leave from here to home on Monday and I decided to look up his symptoms, at which point I thought he might have an ear infection. So, by my choice, instead of ending his suffering right away, I asked mom to take him to the vet if I paid.

She did so on Tuesday, got anti-biotics and started his treatment. He did better through Wednesday and showed much improvement by Thursday, even being able to walk and eat properly, though he still had his head tilt.

Friday afternoon, while I was at lunch, my mom left a voicemail on my phone. It was to say that Kuro had passed away sometime early Friday morning, and that they'd be burying him in the garden in our backyard later that day.

Kuro was a darling, feisty Britannia Petite breed who I had owned for around 4 years. He was my dear friend and confidant. I will miss him greatly, but he is in the hands of his earth mother, she knows what to do now.

Goodbye Kuro, I love you, miss you, and may you rest in peace.
