2015 Big Bang | Soundproof Box by Viviansface - Art Post!
Hooray! Big Bang 2015 is finally here, and this year due to my writing muse shriveling up into dust I decided to participate as an artist. Let me preface this by saying that I very nearly didn't sign up. There are so many talented artists that participate every year that I was, of course, very intimidated. Also, I have zero photoshop skills. All of this is a mix of traditional methods combined with digital editing in pixlr and yes, MS Paint.
I lucked out and picked an AMAZING story!

Summary: After Jared's mother dies, he buys an old, old house far away from his childhood home. Alone and introverted, always thought to be too weird, the ghost living in the house is Jared's only company. Jared doesn't exactly mind -- turns out Jensen is just as weird, if not weirder. Oh, Jared likes him.

Quite possibly the best hands I've ever done and I really like how this one turned out. The blood especially (as odd as that sounds). I finally had a use for all those gel pens I've been hoarding since the early 2000's.

And the original sketch that influenced the rest of the artwork. I'm really pleased with how this turned out. I don't have a scanner, so I photographed all the sketches with my iPhone and it actually gave me some really interesting shadows, which I liked.
I had so much fun participating in this side of the Big Bang, you guys.
