Lol aw, the cheerleading is appreciated! I'm trying very hard not to pressure myself too much, but it's hard not to. I have the outline written down but fleshing it out from there is problematic. But you're right, there are other challenges out there (speaking of, I haven't even started my meant to be challenge yet, but that only has to be 1000 words and posted sometime in May, so I'm not freaking out about that quite yet). And yay! You're going to read "drifting"?! *hides* It's one of my favorites that I've written. I'm actually planning on revamping that one for publication just as soon as I finish editing my other original fic (the one that e-books tree tried to steal)! I'm actually quite behind on my reading as well.
Also, here's a quote that we should both probably try to remember. I don't remember who said it, but it's very true: "Comparison is the thief of joy". It's kind of funny because I actually make pins and magnets that have this quote on them! Really though, we should both take it to heart and try to stop comparing our writing to others and embrace its uniqueness. You are a very talented writer as well and I see your stuff being recced all the time! Easier said than done, I know. :p
