Different Directions

I am thinking of signing up for the Dragon Big Bang... as an artist.  I am intimidated just by considering it because there are so many other talented artists out there that blow my stuff out of the water.

Don't be intimidated by talent - if we did that, nobody would ever take a risk and write or draw anything because we can always find someone better than us... Go for it, enjoy creating something that you love and have fun. You will be surprised how positive and supportive people can be.

I think...you'll surprise yourself by what you can accomplish. If you use those feelings of intimidation to motivate you to do your best, I think you'll be happy and proud of the results.

It's hard not to compare your work to others, I know, and your best might not seem good enough. But you still might achieve something you didn't even know you could and those little victories make it worthwhile.

Come on - you should try it. You find your courage and do it. What are you waiting for? Yesterday was too late. Don´t analyze it... if you feel like trying it - do it :)
