Well, things are quiet around here, so how about some FOs? I've done two small projects this week that I'm quite pleased with.
I started a hat on Monday night, and I've worn it four times this week.
Knit on US 10.5 needles. Yarn is Classic Elite Yarns Desert, which I bought one lonely ball of when my LYS was closing. The pattern was Live Dangerously, Don't Swatch by Susan Lawrence. It was the first time I'd done an I-cord bind-off, and I really like the look of the finished edge.
My other project was something I'd been interested in trying for a while, now.
Improvised pattern done on US 4 needles with 26ga silver craft wire, a buttload of beads, and a lot of patience. It hurt my hands, and it takes a long time to manipulate that much wire, but the finished product is so cool. I'm already planning several more of these.
