[RP] Bernardette
Thanks for all your spiffing words and phrases last week! I foolishly forgot to revise them before session yesterday, but I think I at least managed a 'Great Scott!' at some point.
Playing Bernardette is more fun than it should be. I've never supervised or managed anyone in a work context, but Bernardette is my outlet for all the bad habits of supervising that I hope never to use in real life, such as: invading personal space; interrupting people who are doing a good job of organizing purely because I am organizing them (and then doing a worse job); shouting loudly to get everyone's attention and then waffling without content; and, being horribly patronizing.
Things that Bernardette is actually useful for is trying to find the right people for a job, and being an expendable figure-head to take the flak when anyone asks 'So who's in charge?' (and don't think that I haven't noticed that OOC :P ).
Still, I am very surprised that nobody has punched her yet. If House Mandrake continues to lead in house points, I suspect I might have become the most noticeable person to bring down a peg or two...
