Bill touched Laura’s shoulders. Her warm skin felt like silk under his weathered fingers. He should stop. She needed time to heal, but his body continued to have other ideas especially his heart.
Laura wasn’t helping much as her wandering hands were eagerly stroking his chest before hastily slipping down below his waist. He shifted so she missed her intended target.
“Bill,” she said impatiently.
“Yes, Laura.” He took her hands in his and kissed each palm gently. He could hear her breath catch and feel every ounce of her apprehension. Laura Roslin didn’t give up control easily.
He led her to the back room and to the cot. She sat and then shifted back against the pillows letting her legs fall open. She started to strip off her top.
Bill stopped her. “Wait.”
She let out a small huff. “But...”
“We have lots of time.” Bill lay down facing her moving closer until he was almost flush against her. Face to face, eye to eye, she couldn’t hide, she couldn’t look away. She would see every feeling plainly on his face. He wanted to burn every moment, every taste and sound into his soul and into hers.
Of course his slowing down the seduction frustrated her he could tell. She’d become accustomed to quick and easy fraks and emotionally detached lovers. Now she was facing a full on sensual, passionate affair. Laura squirmed against him and continued to try and move things along.
Bill took a deep breath, studying her face, her lips, her eyes; Laura shivered under his steady gaze.
“Easy,” he whispered and touched her cheek. “I’m not going anywhere.”
She answered quietly, “I know”. Averting her eyes to the door, she suddenly wanted to run as fast as she could back to her old safe isolated life.
