Out of curiosity, when do you see this taking place? I was trying to sueeze it in relatively close to Crossroads- I'm just wondering what people are imagining. Of course, I just realized that would mean Kara should be running aeound, screaming about them going the wrong way.. Hm. -suddenly has an idea-

Oh Gaius.. because this is a drabble I had to cut out the whole bit where he walks into the room- more terror, and a call back to LDYB there. And Laura yells at him a bit more xD

Wow! I check in on lj during a break at work and I find these wonderful drabbles! This idea for an a/u is very intriguing. Bill is Daniel......*dead*

Laura's reactions so far have been so very Laura. Which makes me sad but in a good way. As the icon says, these drabbles are full of angsty goodness!

I think you're the only person who has commented on that. -laugh- I didn't want him to be one of the Five (he wouldn't know enough about himsef) and I figured, this late in the game I couldn't have him be just another model. Plus, this just a whole new layer to his and the Tighs' relationship.

I think you're the only person who has commented on that - Really? I love that he wasn't one of the final five or a sleeper but that he knew all along, it completely changes everything and makes me think about him in a totally different way.

This series is really intriguing, and I particularly like this confrontation between Laura and Gaius about his cylon detector. I would love to have seen this!

Canonically someone needed to call Baltar on the detector.. It seems to get thouroughly ignored later in the series- I believe Tigh makes an offhand comment about Baltar possibly fudging results- but no one ever does anything about it. 'course, here Laura is just on a fact finding mission.

Excellent drabble series! Cylon Bill, whoa! This is seriously intense stuff. And I just love how it loops back to the TMU, TMD confrontation, because that was a great scene and obviously remained relevant far into the series. And growling, roaring Laura is so perfect. She's pissed at Bill but remained vulnerable around him, but with Gaius she's in full ass-kicking mode.

Yea, sort-of-falling-apart Laura is fun to write, especially concerning her relationship with Bill. She's so determined she's getting a bit desperate- so luckily Gaius is a bit too distracted by death-by-presidential-glare to put two and two together.

I’m loving this AU series you’re creating; I’m glad you decided to expand on your original drabble. The idea of Cylon!Bill fascinates me and I’m eager to see what all you do with it. In this drabble specifically I like how you had Laura call Baltar out on his ‘Cylon detector’. The inconsistencies with that thing in canon always bugged me. And Laura scaring the crap out of Baltar is always a good thing too. So, well done and keep ‘em coming.

Cylon!Bill really is intruiging- in this particular niche, there's quite a few cylon!Laura stories, but very few (that I've found) that go the other way. Probably because most people were looking for an excuse for her not to be dead.

-sigh- There's also his detection method (considerably shorter than 11 hours) from the mini which gets ignored.

Everyone seems to really dig Laura scaring Baltar -laugh-
