And yes, Laura could make anyone believe, couldn't she? And I hear this conversation all the time between more-religious women and less-religious men; you're got it spot on both for the A/U you've set it in and Laura & Bill.

And the title.... Yes, whatever either of them believed in would be with perfect faith, wouldn't it, the touchstone by which they lived their lives?

If you wanted to dissuade Frak from issuing more dares then you really shouldn't have done such a good job with this one.
