hooray @ pictures
went to see the sounds of the underground tour in winston-salem on monday. GWAR was headlining! i can get hot topic to reimburse me for my ticket by writing a "style report" where i basically say what ppl attending the show, band members, and i wore to the event, and point out any new fashion trends or something especially interesting or creative.
didnt bring my cam cuz i didnt want anything to happen to it. took 1 pic of gwar on my phone but it came out pretty bad. took a couple pics before i left though.
cute right? i know. unfortunately i didnt make it very long in that corset and ended up sticking it out in my ninja turtles tank top. plus i didnt wanna get GWAR goo stains on the corset. u just cant wear anything nice when you see them unless you wanna stay WAY far back!
the doors were sposed to open @ 1:00pm. we got there @ 2:30, doors werent open yet. huge line wrapped around the block. wasnt for some time after 4:00 that they finally opened, and only had 2 people to pat down like 1,000.. on top of that, Amon Amarth and Darkest Hour didnt show!! (neither did Every time i Die, but they suck.)
THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU, GOATWHORE, and THIS IS HELL got bumped bc of the late opening (grr!!) and i cant remember if we saw heavy heavy low low or not. but i dont think so.
we did see:GWAR, SHADOWS FALL, CHIMAIRA, NECRO, JOB FOR A COWBOY, THE ACACIA STRAIN, and THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.
so out of the 16 bands that i PAID to see, i got to see 7. i want $15 back.
