on leaving seattle

Flying home in about 11 hours. Leaving here without any regrets, which is the best one can hope for, I think. Got the job offer, so I'm thinking I'm going to come back here. Packed up my apartment and threw away lots of trash. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate in a small cramped space in just three months. I want to write more, but I' ( Read more... )

I'll be working on the same team that I was with this summer. Microsoft Works, the "Office for Grandma" suite that comes default installed on a lot of computers. It's a small team, and there are little to no office politics, and I really liked the team, so I felt it was a good match for me.

Bose QuietComfort 2. They're kind of the gold standard for noise cancelling consumer headphones. Bose makes higher grade ones for the US military and for airline professionals.
