'nother Neopets post

Jul 28, 2005 18:11

I was watching Jeopardy yesterday, and one of the questions was, "quiggles, poogles, and something else are part of this website."

My first thought was, 'are those measurements?' (10 quiggles in a poogle! XD)

And then I was like, "woah. o_O Neopets on Jeopardy?? you kid me!"

Weeeeird. =P

XDD

I was like.. "Quiggles.. poogles.." I was SO wondering how it related to the micro/miligram problem I had today. xD I was so confused until I read the title. XDD

At my science lab. =P The problem was that my teacher's Us were a bit slanted.. I thought it was an M. x_X There's a difference of a factor of three, sheesh.

Um vs. Mm. Not that I expect that to make any more sense. xD

That is a bit of a problem. :P I like teachers with bad handwriting, though. I had an English teacher whose handwriting was so bad, he had to go around the class and read the notes he made on people's papers to each person in the class. Eventually, he gave up and started typing notes and gluing them onto essays. It was really cute. XD

This is a bit off topic, but did you know that agar is edible? o.o; I found some in the kitchen and I was like, "what the..." so I boiled it, and it turned into this clumpy mucus-like substance.

Oops, forgot to log in. o_O;;

Today's Final Jeoopardy question:

On April 11th, 1912, this guy took one of the last known pictures of this thingy in Ireland.

And basically.. this is how pathetic kid's Jeopardy is.

Kid 1: ??
Kid 2: The Loch Ness Monster

And Alex goes, all smooth 'n all, "That isn't the correct answer, sorry. You have the wrong country." I bet he was smothering giggles all that time. XD

Kid 3: (Asian one, the guy who won) goes "The Berlin Wall."

Now, I had some respect for Kid 3. He was smart, had glasses, all that. But if he can't tell the difference between 1912 and 1991.. well.. e.e That's just.. silly.

Five seconds into the thing, I was like.. "It's so Titanic." And I asked my mom, and she didn't know, and she loved that movie. e.e Ugh. And then I wavered and thought about the Lusitania, but.. nope. xD

APRIL. APRIL, that absolutely means Titanic. o_O I don't even know when the Lusitania sank. Bleh.

*end rant*

You should go to them with a Harry Potter book and ask to play. :D

Oh, and this is sounding reaaaaaaally familiar. I swear I've heard that question on Jeopardy before... e.e

How old do you have to be to play kid's jeopardy anyway?
