It's recorded me burning a couch, trapped in a bathroom, and all the worst situations. They don't warn you about recording.

[He frowns, glaring at the little golem recording him.]

Seriously? That bites, man. So, what? Do they actually get bored or something?

[Now he's suspicious of his own golem.]

They're like little animals. Yours might listen to you, actually. There are a few people who got lucky.

Has anyone filled you in, yet?

Not really. Like, I know Komui's the guy in charge (I think), and that I'm stuck here in the late 1800's, but that's about it. I was more concerned about the 'secret organization' bits.

Ah. Yeah. Well, you'll learn about that as you go, I guess. They're not into telling us everything, since we're new and all.

But, were you warned about akumas?

[aquilaflying]

Makes sense. I've been through that before.

Akumas? Uhhhhh...I only heard the word.

I don't know exactly how they work, but they're very dangerous. (This, unfortunately, I can say from experience.) [He sighs]

Just stay away if you hear of them anywhere nearby. I've only been here a couple months, but there hasn't been anything in the castle yet.

A lotta organizations like doin' that. CIA's a good example.

Sounds like they're a nuisance around here. Well, not here in the castle, but here in this world. What's it been like living here?

You deal with the CIA?

All right, I guess. It's mostly safe, if that's what you mean. Uh, well, there was a horde of mythical creatures here last month. And the sand dunes that appeared in the hallways. And...

Well, it's relatively safe. They'll probably make you work for your keep, though. Do you have any sort of job where you're from?

Sometimes I do! Depends on if they need me. The FBI just gives me a nod, and the Secret Service agents sometimes hang out with me on their days off.

Well, it's better than not safe at all! Uh, I was the assistant to the President of the United States of America. [Half-lie, but it will have to do.] Don't think that'll slide here.

...Really? That's uh, something.

You were? You do seem familiar, but I don't think I've heard your name before. Well, the worst that happens is you're stuck cleaning or paperwork.

It's what happens when you get caught up in government stuff.
