A long
lost post.
So, lots going on here these days. When did I manage a life anyway?
So, I know I mentioned that I auditioned for 1776 and was cast as George Read. Well, the production is... going along. I'm off book for my lines and most of my music but well, not enough of my music. That and our rehearsal schedule has left a little to be desired, but that's in the past and can't be changed. It does however mean that we're now down to rehearsals almost every night. I am really enjoying the show, getting to know The Players and being on stage again but I will definitely welcome a more defined and regular life schedule. Still, I'm glad I'm doing it.
Work has been interesting. Things have occurred that I can't really talk about but that are more than a little stressful. On the other hand, I'm getting to start working on DB2 LUW, which I've been trying to bring in house for years. I'm supposed to be getting a staff member for the actual support but well, it will take a while for the process to evolve and I need someone qualified... now. So, I'm learning. Trial by fire, which is how I learn best.
I've not worked on my photography much since rehearsals started for real. I've got a lot of backlog to edit which dates back to the fall and I should really be thinking of future shoots as well. I need to have enough seed money to get Imperial Eagle off the ground and continue to support my household and repair my house. I think that means I need to be independently wealthy.
I've got lots more to post but well, I'll get to that later. As for now, bed. I really just wanted to remind you all that I'm not dead.
