Still trying to figure out how to make this thing work. Quite hard considering the day that officially died a couple hours ago. I'm probably just trashing the body, come to think about it.

Ever tried to figure out what to make of something you feel buzzing right under over your skull at the strangest times, like a finger pointing at a moon you can't even begin to comprehend, let alone put into focus?

All morning spent like that, browsing through old and musty art books in the University's library, looking for paintings to let talk. Yeah, right, we're gonna make paintings talk. Some exams we get over here, eh?
Just nobody there, not even a word to let each other know we needed another nicotine shot, a gentle sun veiled from our eyes in the library garden, half-deserted with no exam time nearby. Simply lovely. Couldn't last, sure. In fact, it didn't.

Had to trek my way around Siena at least four times in an hour, which is a death sentence passed on your calves and a sweaty brow as a gracious homage of the vile weather we're having this Autumn. Felt like a damn mild mid-September, I saw people with flip-flops and t-shirts around bumping shoulders with guys in heavy jackets. Total chaos, thermally speaking.

After those very small ordeals came the big one, and off I trotted again and again. When my girlfriend saw me today the first thing she saw was "You're not gonna pass out on me, are you?" "No, why?" "Cause you look like it" "Nah" "Ok, let's go and have a walk then"

Both the Banchi - the main streets - twice. The Duomo. Santa Chiara. Four city doors out of seven. I should have figure it out when I saw her in sneakers.

As for "good news ahead", an Israeli speaker - Mr. Shai Cohen, from the Israelian embassy - was due to participate in an academic meeting at the Normale University of Pisa, which is all but normal, being one of the most respected atenei of all Italy.
The meeting never took place.
As soon as he stepped into the building Cohen was blocked by a bunch of left-wing extremists wrapped in kaffiahs, who first started screaming nice things such as "You arrogant fascist", "You scumbag" and "Sionist pig" and then warned the highest official authority in charge of the debate that if Cohen wasn't sent away "their violence could graduate from verbal to physical". Meeting cancelled, no excuses given, no official punishments. As far as these guys were concerned, it never happened.

What relly disgusts me is that the aforementioned authority didn't call the police "because things could have rapidly degenerated". And got applauded for that. Mr. Cohen wasn't given any official excuses.

I hate it here.
