The show was held at their rehearsal space at Black Box Music, which is in a warehouse district behind an iron gate. The taxi basically leaves you and you walk into this dark, deserted area ;) There were no signs of life until you reached Black Box, which was lit up like a movie premiere was going on there. But no, we weren't treated to all the effects, mostly because there just wasn't room for it -- and I think they wanted to keep some things a secret until the real shows. They entered on what looked to me like a fire escape, marching in line, and walked down to the staqe (imagine something the size of a college or high school stage but with a truncated "auditorium" -- no seats, only standing room). Olli lit a caldron on one side and then the other side lit. They had pieces of the new costumes on but Till had his LIFAD outfit, and his hair was not shaved yet (he did wear it in a ponytail). They did perform the MiG setlist for the most part but no Dicke, no Frau Schneider -- and no Bueck Dich routine per se. They did come on stage crawling, Till had his collar on but he had a dildo in his pants which he brandished and waved about, giggling all the while. He broke up laughing several times during the song because it was just so darned silly ;)
