I have been lax in my MS society support recently, and just looked up my local chapter. Turns out there's an NJ Metro chapter, with about a dozen different walking events this spring. The closest to me is definitely the North Brunswick walk...which is April 18. So, soon.
But I kind of want to go, and to set up a fundraiser page, and to see if I can get people to go with me. And maybe make t-shirts. (Something about "every piece helps" or similar...? With my picture of a pie made of berries that have the Greek letter on them. Or some other math joke.)
Am I being overly ambitious and giving in to my guilt that I can't help my mom enough? Or am I doing something that's manageable (if I don't get crazy) and doing something good? I think individual registration is open, although team registration may be closed.
Also,
rosewater, could I, like, hire you to help with the t-shirt graphics? ;-) Even if I have to wait until next year to make a team up, it's something I've wanted to do for far too long and I lack your wit and talent.
