I went thrifting with lauren and josh today. I'm really impressed with how they handle their friends to eachother ratio. They found the perfect happy medium between hanging out with friends and being together. I really admire and respect them for that

I wrote you a letter, designed to ease some of the pain I will feel upon my departure from the people I care about most. When I don’t know how to deal with my emotions I write, so I wrote a letter for you, entirely in French. Then I came across the fear that I would somehow not manage to get it to you before it was too late. So here is an excerpt so I can be sure you at least read some of the message.
I'm starting to fathom an idea where I would impress you when every single word I ever had to say would come out insightful, brave, captivating, or seductive. You'd want to call me often - very frequently especially since I will be away at college and suffering from an intense case of missing you. And I would be there every time you felt alone, or felt like no one would date you, or go to homecoming with you because you thought you couldn’t get a date. I want to be there ever time, Jeff, every slow dance that you have ever sat out, every night you are depressed thinking you’re ugly and every time you run around reciting French...provocative French at that. Jeff, you are one the most unique people I have ever met, original, and all your own. Never conform, because it would be a deplorable waste of who you really are, and all the potential you possess to be who you will become.
