help a girl out

I need your help! For my Contemporary Composition Theories class, I'm doing a project on how personality preferences shape the composing of writing. To gather some data, I've devised a fun little exercise that won't take but ten (or so) minutes of your time. There's a bit of creativity involved, and being true to yourself is more important than grammar or correctness. I'm mostly trying to draw lines between different styles of approach in different personality types (according to the Meyers-Briggs Personality Inventory).

First, take a gander at this lovely photo:

If the photo doesn't load, you can view it on a different server HERE

Now, I'd like you to take this short, sweet little survey. Just copy the text in the box below into a new comment, and answer the questions.

In a short paragraph, tell me what you imagine to be the story behind (or in) this photo.

What did you notice first about the photo?

After you looked at the whole photo, what served as your basis for writing, or your jumping-off point?

Did you refer back to the photo as you wrote the paragraph? If so, about how many times?

Are there parts of the story you didn't write down? About what percentage?

Would you say you are satisfied with what you wrote? Is it finished?

Walk me through your thought process from seeing the photo to writing about it. How did you come up with your story?

What is your MBTI type? (If you don't know, in the body of the post I've provided a link to a short quiz.)

Age? (Purely for statistical purposes.)
Gender? (Ditto.)
May I quote you in my paper?

If you don't know your Meyers-Briggs type, there's a short-ish quiz HERE.

Comments will be screened for your privacy. Thank you! ♥
