I haven't updated my journal in forever!! Well, except to talk to Alyssa while i'm at work but that doesn't really count. At all.
So anyways,
lots of shit is happening!! My friend (and Jason's ex boyfriend) Torry passed away a couple weeks ago. The past couple weeks have been a little rough. Jason and I had a nice memmorial for him at our house on Saturday. Around 50 people showed up and everybody brought beer, food, and anything they had that reminded them of Torry. It was really great to see all those people coming together for one person to honor his memmory. We'll miss you buddy!!
Work has been off the hook!
Corporate america sucks! Like today, i'm putting in 10 hours. I should be in my new position really soon! The only down side is that there's been a lot of crazy politics and drama being played out in my office. Claudia quit. That's the second employee in 2 months! No!!!!! Not good!
The turnover rate is high. Mostly because the bank puts lots of expectations on their employees. Things like NOT COMING IN LATE or, stealing money.. for example.
Yikes, sometimes I think.. "Am I ready to manage a banking center?"
It looks like the plan to move to Los Angeles is happing all too quickly. When I asked the universe to send me a sign if I was really meant to move to California.. I didn't know that it would reach down from outer space and punch me in the face!
First of all, I met Michael. Randomly.
It was the strangest thing. Like our paths just crossed at exactly the right moment.
He was John's ex boyfriend from 3 years ago. That was even weirder. We were both treated horribly by him! It felt really good to see somebody else come out of the same situation that I did. And the best part of it was that he was strong, confident, courteous, and just soo nice!! Not to mention extremely cute!
I found out that he's living in Los Angeles right now but he's here in Arizona for the summer.
He was saying that I should move to California the second I get a chance. He said he grew up in Arizona but when he moved to California everything changed for him.. and that it was better. Awesome.
THEN...
Doug tells me randomly that Bank One/Chase is building in California right now, and that they should be done building and be open for business by the end of this year!!
That's when I knew I was moving for sure.
So... when i'm finished with my ABM training in about 9-12 months, i'll transfer to Los Angeles!!
I also found these AWESOME kick ass lofts downtown. I guess they're part of Los Angeles' downtown revival project! Which means we can start seeing things like First Friday's downtown.
I'm recruiting some roommates so if anybody wants to move with us let me know!!
I've already got 3 (me, alyssa, sara) so far.
Ok besides that .. nothing else is new. Do you think that's too much estrogen to live with?
