1. I am not a fan of close friends dropping the "I have a big 'ol sloppy crush on you" out of nowhere. Now I'm on double-duty awkward-damage control. That's it! I'm sick of this stuff! I'm declaring myself celibate. For me, this winter has been pretty bad for relationships, whether actualized or not. This coming valentines day is definately going to be a year where cupid gets the middle finger.
2. In other news, my roommate has emerged from Mexico and is running around the desert somewhere. I think I'm going to go river rafting with him and some other folks for block break next week. Yes, it's winter. Yes, to fall into the river would be to rustle up a good case of hypothermia. But it's too tempting. Feel free to start writing Eulogies.
