Usa's lost a lot of friends; she doesn't forget them when they go, or that they left even if they come back.

Ahhh, sure.

Since we're all from different times and places, it all depends on circumstance. Here's an example: when I arrived here, I'd seen the end of the war in my world; however, my friend Jet is from the same world, but he's come here from before the end of the war.

[A solemn pause.] He dies there. That's what I meant: returning home isn't always the best or most merciful option.
