Since we're all from different times and places, it all depends on circumstance. Here's an example: when I arrived here, I'd seen the end of the war in my world; however, my friend Jet is from the same world, but he's come here from before the end of the war.
[A solemn pause.] He dies there. That's what I meant: returning home isn't always the best or most merciful option.
