YAY, SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SIX WEEKS! Which means writing, writing, writing, reading , reading , reading and even more reading. As well as editing and playing computer games.
Oh, and occasionally visiting my cousins.
I'm STILL not satisfied with Saviour - the seth/eirika one shot I'm working on. You know how writer's sometimes use too many words to describe something and the end result is that you're bored with it all and either skip it or just stop reading all together/ Yeah, well, that's what I'm afraid of doing - using too many words, trying to be articulate but making the story uninteresting for too long. And this particular chapter is supposed to be full of dramatic tension and suspense. When I read it through, I just go 'blah, so what?'.
Is that the normal response of an author who is reading their own work? Because I have been very impressed with The Moonlit Path - a Harry Potter piece of fanfiction I'm working on. I think, aside from the discontinued version of the sixth Harry Potter book that i wrote [I thought I could send it to Mrs JK Rowling, HAHA, I imagine she would have been very amused and sent me a thank you letter but...], it's the best thing I've ever written.
Hahaha, I've got a notebook full of Harry Potter related fanfics! As well as angsty Seth/Eirika and minor scribbles of original fiction. I'm wondering if I should post it...
And as for chapter two of Guilt, I'm stuck. Been comtemplating on scrapping the happy scene but Seth's gotten over his mental illness so I can't really make a scene where Eirika will cope it and stroke his hair.
Bah! I'm disappointed with Guilt and myself, really. I should have edited it and perhaps I should edit it, but it might not get many reviews....well, for now, I'll finish it and later on, perhaps i 'll post it again. the edited version.
oh and I got Memories of the Past - a Card captor sakura fanfic favourited!
Wow, YAY!
And I got a L7 in my Geography test. I'M DOING GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY - ALL OF THE HUMANITIIES SUBJECTS, no technology!
To be honest, they should make ICT a compulsory subject, not technology! Because ICT is waaaayyyy more useful. I have to get on an ICT course someday...
Have a wonderful week everyone!
