Lightning is searching for you
I know I said I was going to give you guys an update but I've been afraid to use my computer due to huge freaking thunderstorms. Yeah, heavy rain after a heat wave means lots of lightning. Now usually I don't mind watching lightening storms, but not when they're practically over my head. I spent most of yesterday morning curled up on the couch with two freaked out dogs while the cats all hid.
Anyway, I'm at the airport waiting for my flight home (which wasn't delayed thankfully). So you guys get another random crap post while I amuse myself.
Went to Idaho city Idaho yesterday, which is a little former-mining town up in the mountains. It was really cool and I bought myself an old iron padlock (complete with keys!) from the little shop up there. Afterward we went through the cemetery up there. I got some really awesome pictures of the old headstones. The details on some of them were just so incredible.
Have been playing American McGee's Alice for the past couple weeks and am currently stuck in a level. All I can say is I've developed a venomous hatred for lava, fire snarks, and any level that requires excessive jumping. Other than that I'm really getting a kick out of the game.
Have also been working on art a lot the past couple weeks. I should have a couple finished by the time I get home, but not as many as I wanted. The coloring style was bugging me so I changed it. End result was I had to go back and rework a bunch of stuff. I'm a lot happier with the look of it though.
I went fishing and I swam in a river last week. I haven't done either of those since I was maybe . . . twelve. It was just as fun as I remember.
