Trying to slide in one last post before I leave since I'm going with Deb for at least a month. She thinks that she can get me internet access but I'm not going to hold my breath. At the moment I'm about as packed as I'm going to get and currently waiting for Deb to get here so we can hit the road. So, while I'm waiting, I'm going to put a bunch of random crap here to fill the time.
For Badger: That Lovecraftian music site is
here. For anybody that wants to read it: The crossover between Star Trek and Neil Gaiman's Sandman series is
here. Kirk's is just so fitting, Scotty's makes me laugh, but the one with McCoy is my favorite.
I'm packing a crapload of CD's since Deb doesn't have an MP3 hookup. In the process I've managed to find all of my missing cd's except for Linkin Park and the Once Upon a Time in Mexico soundtrack. All of my Gorillaz cd's are now present and accounted for, which makes me very happy.
I managed to find and buy a copy of American McGee's Alice in Wonderland for Mac. It is now installed in my computer and I will likely be losing my mind on that when I'm not working on artwork or reading Dresden Files.
I will be working on artwork while I'm gone, cross my heart and hope to cry. So someone *cough
mythologian cough* won't feel the need to poke me about it.
Mom has promised to take care of my boy while I'm gone, so no worries. I'm going to miss having my calm, quiet cat sleeping with me at night but I certainly won't lack for company. We're going to be dealing with two crazy dogs, a pissed off Monster kitty, and one highly confused boy cat who's never been on a road trip before. Fun times.
There's a dead squirrel on my lawn. I'm not sure if that's an omen or not but I'm going to have to go deal with it and I really don't want to.
I have Ludo's "The Lamb And The Dragon" stuck in my head. I'm surprisingly ok with this.
. . . and she's here so I'll sign off for now. Talk to you later guys!
