Little kids need less energy...
Today was my sister's birthday party. Had it at this place called the Jungle. *sigh* Of course, my parents had to drag me along because "it would be nice for her." Heh. For those of you who are fortunate enough not to have seen this place, it's a fairly big jungle gym-ish thing, with structures to climb on, and huge slides, etc. Needless to say, my sister forgot the existence of everyone the minute she saw the place. Not that I blame her. The place is pretty cool ^^.
So the first people who arrive are my little cousins, 9 and 3.
Mom: You don't seem to be doing anything, why don't you look after them?
Me: Sure.
9-year-old: It's ok, I can go myself.
Me: *sigh of relief*
9-year-old: But you'll probably have to take care of my sister, she's scared of the big slides.
Me: *groan*
And that kid dragged me all over the place. Running.
Baby-sitting should be an Olympic sport. Now I need to do some real work.
On another note, I found out recently that even smart people can be infernally stupid.
