Spring Break
Well, yet another quarter notched under my belt. So far so good.
In terms of what's going on currently:
Big news- Might be getting a potential internship with Allina health services. Apparently they're interested in having me do some animations for their website and some medical illustrations for their brochures/books. Doesn't sound too hard, but it would be a lot of work since I'm pretty much on my own for it. Usually animators work in teams but it would be just me working independently. They're thinking of having me put with the creative department over there so here's hoping it works out. At least I'd be able to graduate on time. Career services and what not doesn't really help you in terms of getting one so you're pretty much on your own. It would be a huge weight off my shoulders if I got one with them.
I got a nice new laptop (which I finally paid off not too long ago) and my god this thing is my dream machine, the only thing it needs to do is play blu ray and I'm all set. But I'm honestly not sure if it can or not so I'll have to see. It runs my 3D programs, it runs my games (I've been playing Star Trek Online lately during breaks between projects, I need more people to play with! ;__; ))
I am determined to get the last of my commissions done over the break, if not 90% of them, I only have two more to do, one to color and one to re-draw. I'm soooo sorry for making you wait so long perdi! <33 I'll get started on your gift pic to.
I finally have working copies of Maya and AfterEffects on this thing, so doing my homework will be a breeze as I don't have to sit at school all day to do it. Next quarter is going to kill me as I have all Animation classes. Once I get through this hopefully everything else will be smooth sailing as I just have my internship and portfolio classes. EEK I graduate soon EEEEEK.
