I quit smoking.

I've convinced myself that the reason they're still legal is because it's a government conspiracy for mind control, to line their pockets as well as those of corporate douchebags. At the same time they're using my smoking as a "valid" reason to deny me healthcare in spite of the extraordinary taxes I pay, not just to smoke, but to have a job and buy tampons.

The important thing is that it makes sense in my head.

Also a deciding factor: After a lot of self-reflection, reading and general research on fundamentalist Christianity and Islam and the similarities between them, I have reached the conclusion that there is no god. There is no god. There is no heaven. There is no hell.

It sounds defeatist, like, what would an atheist live for? But that's just it. Life is all you have and it doesn't have to suck. If I continue smoking, I could live to be 60 or so. If I quit, I could live to be 90. Those 30 years are mine. MINE!

Paying a millionaire to take 30 years from my life is a fucking scam. This is economic suppression. Isn't it bad enough that they're making billions off of the labor of the working class? Now we allow them to reclaim most of our meager paychecks through cigarettes and mandatory auto insurance and extraordinary interest rates on loans for things we couldn't afford in the first place, etc., etc.

Some interesting facts:
1. Tobacco companies have had HUGE success in third world countries.
2. Thirty percent of every cigarette is shit they swept off the floor at the processing plant.
