Bravo! :D A great take on what *could* have happened if POTC was Norribeth-verse :D I enjoyed this.

Thanks for the great review. :) I'm going to start on a longer Norribeth suspense type fic soon, after I finish my other one that is. I wanted to get this little one-shot written up though.

Truthfully, the new fic will have some elements of man vs nature, too. It will be more scary though. Has anyone ever written a Norribeth suspense or horror fic? I will try to keep it more suspense than horror. Been a while since I wrote a creepy story.

Thanks for the reviews. Yes, I tend to sneak one shots in between chapters of longer fics. If I can think of an idea that is.

Why did this not happen in canon?! *not amused*
Well, anyway, I really liked your fic!

It didn't happen in cannon because POTC is supposed to be a bit bohemian I guess with revolutionary ideals, like in "Moulin Rouge". The girl should choose the man who can support her (wealth) but instead she chooses the poor man out of love. The 4 bohemian ideals in Moulin Rouge were: Beauty, Truth, Freedom and Love.

Elizabeth is certainly beautiful. She and Will seek the truth (Jack was innocent and helped them). Will discovered the truth about his father, too. Barbossa was also seeking the truth about the medallion as Liz lied to him. Jack seeks his freedom and so does Elizabeth in a way, freedom to marry whom she chooses. And Love, there is lots of that in the movie as two men love Elizabeth.

And yes, I like musicals like "Moulin Rouge".

Glad you liked the story.
