Scenes From Pirates 4 On Stranger Tides
I have noticed that there are several scenes in Pirates 4 On Stranger Tides that reminds me of scenes from the previous POTC movies. For fun, I will try listing a few of them.
The fight between Jack and Angelica near the beginning of the movie: this reminded me of the fight between Jack and Will in the blacksmith shop in COTBP. Sword fights are always fun, yes?
Barbossa’s “Are We Not King’s Men” speech: Reminded me of his “The Blood, the Blood Undone” speech in COTBP. Barbossa does enjoy giving speeches, doesn’t he? And he’s good at it, too!
Blackbeard Stopping the Mutiny with the Rigging: This was like the Kraken Attack in DMC, except for big tentacles waving about and snatching people it was ropes. I think making the ropes come alive was pretty clever…
Jack jumping off the cliff: Jack falling off of Fort Charles at the end of COTBP, except this time he was scared he might die.
Groves dying with the flag: Lord Beckett dying and the EITC flag falling on top of him in AWE. I admit I’m not 100% sure Groves is dead, as people can survive gunshot wounds and it did not show him staring with open eyes (which they love doing it Pirates it seems) but as they seem to enjoy killing the Navy guys...
All in all, it was a great movie with lots of action and humor!
