Weekend Update...
I haven't written much in here lately (other than my professor issue), so I figured I'd take some time to do so. Things have been going fairly well lately...I am approaching my 6 months being in Seattle and my current job, which means that I can apply for a transfer to corporate (yay!). I am thinking about applying for either a Software Test Engineer or something in our Release Management dept (if something comes available). We'll see how it goes (keeps fingers crossed).
Also, I've made it a goal to find a place to live up on Capitol Hill by the end of April. I do enjoy where I live, but I think I'd have more of a social life living on the hill vs. living down here in Federal Way. For those that don't live in the Seattle area, Federal Way is more surburban...plus I miss living in the city.
Last night was our company party at the EMP (Experience Music Project). Very different than what I am used to in Vegas, but I like how they hired a local band to play an assortment of songs. The karaoke bar was fun, though I wasn't as drunk to actually go and sing. I was somewhat reserved this year, partially because I knew this was the first corporate party I've been to and I figured that I needed to be on good behavior.
So today I am finally having lunch with my friend Allen...I haven't seen him in over a month, so it'll be nice to hang out with him again. :)
