"Carelessly growing up and growing old."
So, the big 20. I figured I'd make a post about it now, I doubt I'll be able to get at a computer all that day, and I don't really want to(except to get my 2v2 done for the week! XD).
I thought I'd dislike being 20 and just forget about it, because it's just another small stepping stone before 21. However, it's extremely strange to look back and know that I've been around for two decades.
And then I stop and think about the things that have happened since my last birthday... I also can't help but think about the fact that Draco died a year ago. Then soon after that we moved into this awesome house, so everything just leveled out.
I waited to say anything, because I wasn't suppose to know, but I think I'm in the clear now. My parents got me a sakabatou, and it's as real as a katana can be when bought in the US(full tang, right balance, proper weight, I can barely lift it with one arm). When my mom and Tarah showed it to me I seriously just cried, it means a lot to me. I'll probably cry again when they actually give it to me. It sounds stupid and girly, but I really don't cry that often, so I feel like a total wuss about it. XD
