"Something about the way Barbossa cackles like a madman and kills people..."
I saw Pirates for the third time today. I think I'm done paying to see it now, or at least until I can get Mom to go see it.
Dad and I stopped by a PetCo the other day and took a look at snakes and there happened to be a red tailed boa constrictor. Then today we went to a different PetCo and I got to hold one of the baby boas. I'm sold, I'm getting a boa constrictor. This is no joke, I've done my research and Mom and Dad have already agreed to it.
This will be my biggest pet project, but I want it to be that way. I loved Draco with all of my heart and I just felt like I didn't have enough time with him. I'm ready for a long term pet.
Anyway, this normally wouldn't be big news, but it is to me. Red tails grow to be about 8-10 feet long, can weigh up to 50lbs and can live up to 30 years. It(I'm hoping a he) will grow between 4-5 feet within one year. So, my baby boa will get as big as Monty(who's 6 years old) when it is only 1 year old. Awesome. XD
As soon as we're done unpacking we'll get the cage set up. Dad and I are getting the 55 gallon tank into my room by the end of the week.
I'm still debating a name...
Oh, and I made a Jack "O rly?" icon. I'm thinking of making a set; Davy Jones for "Ya rly." and William for "No wai!" I need a good ditzy/shocked screen shot of Will. Finding a mean looking Jones screen will be easy. :3
