Cookie had a baby this morning...
I didn't think I would be this excited, it is her second time, but I am. I'm really restless because she could be having more then one this time. Gah, I swear I'll have pictures by the end of the day. From what we've seen of the baby so far it has really rare coloring. ^_^
So last time she gave birth, we didn't know until after it was all over and the baby was cleaned up and actually following Cookie around the other areas of the cage. This time was way different. I look in on their cage all of the time and I always stop and pet them and such. This morning when I looked in Cookie was covered in blood and desperately trying to find something she could use as a dust bath. I put their bath in their cage and I sat there trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Tarah came up stairs asking what was taking me so long and I told her and right away she said "Did you check for babies?" I felt so stupid, lol. There was a little baby chinchilla stumbling around inside Cookie's bed.
Anyway, there'll be more on that later.
I had an awesome time with Khalid yesterday. I really missed him and sitting around and playing video games is one of my favorite things to do with him. He also got me addicted to World of Warcraft, fuck.
