Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Unit Therapist needed for our Treatment Team at the Massachusetts Treatment
Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The Unit Therapist position
responsibilities include providing group therapy for sex offenders and
developing and teaching psycho-educational classes and specialty groups.
Unit Therapists are responsible for developing treatment plans for state
inmates and residents (civilly committed Sexually Dangerous Persons). This
position involves providing written documentation of treatment and other
record-keeping tasks.

Qualifications:

Individual should hold a minimum of a master?s degree in psychology;
counseling or a closely related field. Experience in the facilitation of
psycho-educational and cognitive behavioral groups with sex offenders or
related experience in substance abuse treatment, anger management, and
relapse prevention a plus. Quality supervision provided.
