And roads that tell you important stuff, which is great too if they're not hacked or used for advertising...
I love this idea, even though it's hard to imagine a surface like that standing up to the abuse a road takes...
Imagine replacing the electrical system that way. Imagine increasing broadband competition that way...
I'm just wondering how much money utilities and ISPs would pour into Congress to keep it from seeing ... the light of day...
And then there's the GOP and its apparent desire to end the federal government, except, of course, for the nearly trillion dollars poured into the "security" black hole each year...
I wonder who will pay for roads and bridges then...
We will, of course, state by state, but since it costs so much, we'll probably do what some states are already doing: chopping up old roads and going back to gravel...
As for the bridges, well, we'll just get used to staying in one section of town, I guess...
Or ferries, maybe...
