Ah, writing group tonight was excellent. Mostly cos a new girl came to observe and, at the end, was practically begged to come back next week. Mostly cos over the past few months we've been alternately berating and cajoling Alpha Male to let new people join and tonight he definitely took me by pleasant surprise by asking her if she wants to come back next week. Yayness!
Also Awesome Spec Lady is now writing a script which totally demonstrates her most excellent ear for dialogue even though the actual plot has confused the bejesus out of me and so there I was making plaintive moans for character notes and a scene breakdown. She has two weeks to write an entire screenplay. It's doable.
Me, I didn't read and haven't done so for about three weeks now and tonight got told it was completely unbelievable that I could be scared of anything. *splutters* And that I should just do it. Just go do it. I knoooooowwwww, I knoooooowwwwww. I'd much rather start the next novel but no, I knoooooowwww I should just go do the research trip. *sigh*
