Hell fucking no! I live in an apartment building of seventy-two units. When one of them smiles at me on the stairs, I pretend not to see. Too close, too close! I cherish my urban anonymity.

The Botanic Gardens, the movies, the State Library. Max Brenner.

The rucked up quilt under which I'm about to push my bare cold toesies.
