Cos it suddenly hit me that enough time has elapsed so I can do a full read through.
Omg. SO FUCKING AWESOME!! Never mind that it is so sweet to go right back to the first book and be utterly charmed by the novelty and innocence of it and yet be equipped with all the knowledge to fill in all those blanks that frustrated me so much through the whole series. Cannot understate the sheer awesomeness of that right there.
My first book is actually yellowing. That's scary.
I'm currently swimming steadily and without frustration through the murk of Order Of The Phoenix and deadening myself to all the capslock. It does improve on every subsequent reading, I have to say. All about pace. I just keep fidgeting a little for the locket to reappear. It was in the cabinet during the cleaning, wasn't it?
