Merry Xmas- have a "special" brownie!
Hey kids. So the merry season went nicely up until late last night.
I had a lovely dinner at grandma's and she told us lots of family history that I FINALLY started to write down! Apparently my great grandfather REALLY hated Russia and especially the Czar and the Nazis. I don't blame him.
Lan has been driving around in her new SUV and I have yet to go inside of it.
Christmas was oddly unsatisfying. It felt almost exactly like my Thanksgiving experience, which was great, but this was like a continuation of that. For presents I got a Gone with the Wind dvd collector's set. I haven't even seen that movie yet! But after I read the book I happened to visit my aunt and uncle and talk aaaalll about it, so this gift makes sense. Holy crap there are literally 5 EXTRA dvd's of additional extras and commentary! And I got one othe thing...what was it...not an ipod, although i was fantasizing about the miniature pink one...oh yeah, a rubber ducky bath set! That was really random, but what can I say, I'm a dirty girl in need of a rubber ducky bath set.
So what is the problem, you ask? Last night I knew that I should've stayed over at my dad's house instead of trying to drive home in the questionable weather, I even kept getting "signs" telling me to stay over at his house...But no. I really wanted to go home, now didn't I? Well I got home all right... After my car crashed into a tree. I'm not injured, and my car isn't that bad. Bet let me tell you, this does NOT help to my feeling like such a fuck up. I'm so irresponsible. I'm such a bad adult. I've been continually failing at life :(
