BWAHAHAHAHAHA

This LJ is coming to you from the Great White North.
...Write that down, it's probably the only time you'll ever hear southwest Ohio referred to as the 'great white north'.
I went to bed at 6 something this morning. Mom had the brilliant idea to wake me up at 10:30 to take pictures, so I'm not too thrilled with her right now. Ohwell. Oxford is under a level 3 snow emergency, meaning, all non-emergency personnel has to keep their butts off the road if they don't wanna get in trouble with the cops.
Somehow, the concept of a 'high-speed chase' through this stuff cracks me up.
The snow has stopped. It wasn't supposed to do that until tonight, not LAST night, but I guess I'll take what I can get. And what we got was probably a good 2 feet (hard to tell with all the drifting)... Mom took a yardstick out and checked and the driveway, which she had cleared by about 5 yesterday afternoon, has 11 inches again. She's out shoveling. I say she's a lunatic.

You can't really tell in the picture, but when one looks out the window int he computer room, the snow is... eh, maybe five inches from the bottom of the window, maybe six... the window's 30 inches off the ground. =p

If I could get that door open I would have a much better picture of 'ridiculous snowdrifts out on the deck' (it's higher on the other side) but, the door will not open. So, bottom of the door avaliable for comparison. Russell also avaliable for comparison.

And out front, neighbor's car avaliable for comparison *snickers*

Bad angle for the yard (gotta wait for the driveway to be shoveled, I suspect) but... well, the roof's a mess ^_^

This is the shot Mom dragged me out of bed for. So much for the outside decorations. (We've also got little lights on stakes which were completely buried by last night, so we had little colored splotches in the snow. It was the coolest thing ever, and my camera's stupid flash ruined every picture I tried to take. When I went to bed this morning, the snow was so deep you could barely see the colored splotches anymore.)

There might be more photos today, or there might not, depending on my mood and how much I'm otherwise occupied. I'm gonna beat Neoquest 2 today, dammit. *snickers*
