Yuletide Letter 2015
Dear Yuletide Writer,
Thank you so much for signing up this year! I'm super excited for whatever you have in store for me and if they incorporate any of my interests, that's a bonus. Feel free to use the stuff I've listed below as general guidelines as opposed to anything set in stone.
Now on to the specifics...
Things I adore:
- AUs. I have a vast array of interests (e.g. academia, crime/heist, harlequins, mythology, sports, steampunk, superheroes, rule 63, etc.) so hopefully that opens things up a bit if you're not 100% confident re: keeping things perfectly canon in any of the fandoms I've listed.
- Romance. Give me pining, jealousy, misunderstandings, courting, awkward first dates, meet-cutes-all that rom-com goodness. I'm also a huge fan of the arranged marriage trope or falling in love with the ~wrong person/someone you're not supposed to (e.g. You've Got Mail, The Cutting Edge, etc.).
- Slice-of-life fic definitely welcomed. As is team-as-family/general group-oriented stuff.
- Sex is awesome, but not a requirement. If you do feel like writing something porn-y, pretty much anything consensual goes. I'm a big fan of riding, light bondage, toys, semi-public sex, and frantic/desperate moments as well as sweet, playful ones.
- Happy endings would be nice, but I'll settle for something on the hopeful or more ambiguous side.
What I'm not at all interested in is: character-bashing, non-con, bestiality, incest, gratuitous/unnecessary violence/death (i.e. going over the top and beyond canon).

Ted Crisp, Veronica Palmer, Rose Crisp
My beautiful satirical, misfit, cancelled-far-too-soon show. Veronica Palmer will always be the woman I want to be when I grow up. I'll be happy with any combination of the characters listed, but you will have my undying gratitude if you write Ted/Veronica. I'd love to see something incorporating their relationship and how Rose handles finding out about it or maybe some future-fic with the three of them.

Bridgerton Series - Julia Quinn
Colin Bridgerton Penelope Featherington
I adored Romancing Mr. Bridgerton and these two so honestly, I'd enjoy anything you write me. But if you're feeling adventurous, maybe a modern AU based on one of my likes? A While You Were Sleeping AU or some variation of that premise would be awesome too.
If you prefer sticking to the traditional harlequin route, I'd love to see this (based off the summary for Pickpocket Countess):
It's Brandon Wycroft's duty as the Earl of Stockport to catch the "Cat," a notorious thief who is stealing from rich local homes to feed the poor. Discovering that the Cat is a woman, he changes his plan of action-- to a game of seduction! Mysterious and tempting, she teases him. And, as the net closes around the Cat, Brandon realizes he wants to protect her as well as bed her. But the only way to catch her is to spring the parson's mousetrap--and make her his countess!

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun | Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun
Nozaki Umetarou, Sakura Chiyo, Hori Masayuki, Kashima Yuu

Oh man, what do you ask for from a show that's practically flawless? I'd be stoked to read something sweet and fluffy and romantic featuring either Sakura/Nozaki or Kashima/Hori, but general cuteness with the four of them (and the rest of the ensemble) would do quite nicely as well. I'd like to see some role reversal where Nozaki is the one being all adorably flustered over Sakura's words/actions. Perhaps a Paperman AU based on this fabulous fanart? I'd also enjoy something in the same vein for Kashima and Hori. What if Hori was ~prince for a day and Kashima is completely thrown off by it?

The Losers (2010)
Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez, Jake Jensen, Linwood "Pooch" Porteous
I adore Jensen/Cougar so any and everything from my likes would be amazing. Pooch is also a fave so the three of them on a mission and all the shenanigans that come with would also be awesome. Maybe a space AU? Alternatively, it'd be nice to get a look at their respective domestic lives-Pooch and Jolene with the baby, more uncle!Jensen and the Petunias, etc.

P.K. Subban, Carey Price
There's such a dearth of fic with these two that I don't even know where to begin. Give me canon P.K./Carey celebrating winning gold at the Olympics or a wild west AU with P.K. as some hotshot gunslinger and Carey as the town sheriff.
I'd also love some version of Cattle Rancher, Convenient Wife's summary:
Wife wanted! Love not required-- Cattle rancher Rory Compton isn't looking for love-- but he is looking for a wife. He wants a partner who will settle down with him in the Outback, a practical, down-to-earth woman who won't be seduced by the bright lights of the city.
Glamorous fashion editor Allegra Sanders doesn't seem to fit Rory's criteria at all. With her model looks he can't trust that her growing attraction to him is for real. But that doesn't seem to stop Rory thinking about her-- every minute of every day!
Honestly, anything with these two being dorks in love is enough for me.

Johnny Martin (Penelope), Penelope Wilhern
God, I love this movie. Honestly, anything following up on Penelope and Johnny's life post-movie would be amazing. Tell me all about their Happily Ever After. Alternatively, show me what happens if the curse was never broken/didn't need to be. I feel like a Chasing Liberty AU would also fit really well with Penelope and Johnny.
