The unusual sky this morning, and a lake that doesn't exist

The sky was a really odd colour this morning... I don't think I need to tell anyone what this means for our weather
(No I didn't take the picture - see below for link)
The second is a commentary about all the rain we've had recently
Floodwater has created a lake lapping at the doors of Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucestershire.
The weather pundits are promising us 5 more days of heavy rain, strong winds and, bizarrely, thunderstorms.
