Just got a letter from Ceilidhs School.
She is to recieve an award at the presentation night. I have probably cursed her but i am hoping she recieves the contribution to Drama award, and some of the others i know she will get will be the top of year awards, and awards for excellence. On monday she came home from school with her art essay 50 out of 25. nope i didnt do that wrong. she got 200% i think what i happening is that she is throwing the class averages out. in order to give her a 100% they have to lower everyone elses scores, or more likely they are just giving her full marks and marking everyone else as if she wasnt in the class. I agree with it as the other kids dont deserve to fail just because ceilidh is so advanced.
Her art teacher says she is writing at second year university levels, and read the essay out to the class to inspire them. I told ceilidh she really must be pretty cool, or the school has a fantastic anti bullying program, im not sure which. lol.
She gets 100% scores in all her other subjects too, so she is across the board doing an amazing job. I am so proud of her and am excited about the presentation night to see what amazing awards she comes home with.
only a few days left of school and then she will break for the summer. She can get her learner licence and will turn 16 on the 13th of this month. how amazing.
