TIVO is like, the coolest thing ever.
Seriously.
I can fast foreward through commercials, and watch all my favorite shows back-to-back in about an hour and a half, WHEN it's most convenient for ME. I'll never miss Family Guy again!!!
On a totally different subject, Travis, Eric, Josh, and I were all yelled at for the first time ever for letting our dogs jump in the pool. I don't get it... they don't keep the pool clean enough for people to actually go swimming, so why are they even complaining? At least the dogs get to have some fun. It all started when I threw a cracker into the pool so that Gus (the big, brown lab) would jump in after it, which he did. This caused Annabelle to jump in after him. Of course, Scout couldn't be left out (especially from anything Annabelle is doing), so she finally jumped in too. This lady who we've never seen before came running out of the office and told us that people wouldn't want to go swimming after seeing the dogs jump in the pool. Wrong. People don't want to go swimming because there are so many leaves in the pool, the water is never quite clear, and its NEVER the right temperature. Oh well.
Oh yeah, this stupid girl got mad at me at work the other night because she had to take a table that nobody else wanted to take (it was after close, and it was all non-english speaking people). According to her, the hostess told me to take the table... which wasnt true. Anyway, I overheard her going around telling people that I shouldn't be a closer, blah blah blah, so I went right up to her in front of a group of people and told her she shouldn't be a closer to her face. She had no idea that I heard her backstabbing, so naturally her brain went nuts when I told her that. Wow... I've never seen anyone get THAT pissed off at me. It was actually pretty funny. Ahhh... the joys of working with ignorance.
I need to start packing so I can leave this God-forsaken town.
