Run, don't walk, directly to the freezer section of your nearest Target.
We went yesterday to buy some cereal bars, and then walked around grocery. Now, I know we are best known for going to Target to hunt the clearance racks, but what we found that was so great wasn't on clearance at all.
I was just looking at ice cream, and became intrigued by the Life-Savers flavored sherbets. It wasn't until after I'd been looking at them for a while that I saw the prices.
The regular 5-flavor style was marked on the shelf at $1.04 for almost a half-gallon. We checked it on one of the price scanners - if it's a misprint, it's in the system that way too. It was especially weird because the one next to it - same size, same brand, just a different set of flavors - was marked $1.98. So we bought a carton of the $1.04 sherbet and tried it last night, and it is acceptably tasty.
This was spotted at the Target at Southport and Emerson - dunno if it's a mistake just in that store's system, or whether it's a chainwide thing, but I'm pretty sure we're going back to Target today to stock up on cheap dessert.
Edit: we bought three more. There are two left at that location, but they're in the back of the case, you'll need to get some help.
