So, yesterday was just amazing.
Nola and I hung out at her house for a little bit.
We watched part of Monster-In-Law before leaving for Target.
I bought a lot of the dollar stuff.
Even some cool black and white photos I found.
And of course a couple things for Jadyn.
We were heading for Marshall's and ended up at the Salvation Army.
How?
We don't know.
There was a lot of funny stuff.
Including some really scary boxers I decided not to take pictures of.
You would thank me if you saw them.
After finding out gas was $50 an ounce,
I finally convinced Nola to let me pay for $10 of it.
I swear it's so crazy.
And I'm sick of watching the news because my mouth gets sore from hanging open.
I feel bad having air-conditioning when thousands of people don't even have power.
Well, I'm praying for them.
Not like my praying will help much anyway.
Let me just say before we get into this entry:
I suck at names
and
I'm extremely tired.
Alright.
So on our way to downtown Milford we picked up one of Nola's friends.
Then went into Aura [boardsports] for a while.
There were a lot of guys playing games and stuff.
It was kinda fun, but I think I'll have more fun next week.
The real fun began in the parking lot.
A lot of the guys were skateboarding and Nola looked extra pretty in the sunlight
(which equals lots of photo ops for me).
I got really excited.
Then it turns out this one kid there took photography classes at Michigan Tech for a week.
I was so jealous.
He even rode over to his house to get some pictures to show me.
They were really good.
I was more jealous.
Then after seeing his camera (an old Canon) I decided this kid and I could not be friends.
He had everything I could ever want.
Just kidding.
He was really cool.
We talked for a while, ate pizza, and took pictures.
Then Nola and I stopped at my house for a while.
It was a great day,
and nola was an amazing model. :]
When I woke up this morning Jadyn was really excited to see me.
Even more excited than other mornings.
And my dad bought me a camera!
It's old and everything but gees...
it has a telephoto lens, a wide angle lens, a normal lens, and an external flash!!!
I don't think I've ever loved anything so much in my entire life!
I can't wait to use it!
And then to make things even better my dad picked up my pictures from CVS.
I love them all!
I just hope that Nola likes them as much as me.
Nola got a little sick of pictures
and decided I needed to know what it felt like
to have a camera pointed at my face.
It was lovely.
(I can't decide which version I like more)
More to come because I now have a new camera
and more film.
Let me know what you think!
