depeche mode and other things

going to depeche mode on monday really got me back into the techno mood. first off, the concert was briliant- the sound was awesome, super bass coupled with a fabulously entertaining production. they didn't miss a beat. plus having great tickets thanks to Rick also sweetend the whole thing. i swear i haven't had that much fun at a huge concert, it was just great. although lets not forget the great opening act - the bravery, who played almost their entire cd and sounded just like it. i was so impressed, and left wanting to see them perform in a crowded club type atmosphere. (as for depeche mode, they should always play on a huge stage with screaming fans and a super sound system)
great night of fun and good company.

anyways, the semester is finally winding down thank goodness. i have time to myself more or less now that i have not enjoyed since somewhere between august and october. but it was good for me, i can;t complain about work.

haha, an interesting note on that topic - i was watching a program about how there is this new generation of kids noted "the boomerang generation" who end up moving back in with their parents after they graduate college. man are these people lazy, they just sit around and mooch off mom and dad! i couldn't do that personally, because i have this thing called a work ethic. but i can't really judge them either, even though its hard. but still i will not be one of the boomerange generation that's for damn sure.
