::Sigh:: One week in. And I'm watching bad, bad television. Flavor of Love is perhaps the worst product of the reality TV wave...ever. Ever ever. It's the ghetto-fabulous version of The Bachelor.
Anyhow. So many things have happened, but I can't really bring myself to type any of them. I'll sart slow. Central Park is so wonderful, it's away from the noise and endless concrete, full of trees and pretty ponds. It makes me happy. And last night (after being kicked out of a party in Bushwick--not as exciting as it sounds, trust me) Laila, Charlotte and I danced in Washington Square Park, and I met a cute hippie named Len.
That's another amazing thing about this place; the stereotype that people are so mean is only half true. There are some inconsiderate people (most of them go to my sisters school), but generally, I've met no one but nice people, they've let me use their umbrellas, they've danced with me, sang with me, performed acts of kindness big and small. Maybe it's the nice weather that makes people friendlier, and when it gets cold we'll all go back to being a bunch of scrooges...hopefully not, though.
I want chocolate. The end!
